A hands-on chocolate birthday party made especially for them.

Looking for a birthday party that's creative, memorable and a little different?

Our Kids Chocolate Parties give children the chance to experience real chocolate making, create their own chocolate bars and finish the celebration with our Belgian chocolate fountain dessert experience.

We can also tailor elements of the party around the birthday child's interests — from dinosaurs and dogs to unicorns, favourite colours and more.

A Party With Their Personality

Before the party, we'll ask what the birthday child loves.

We then use those ideas to help shape the chocolate decorations and figurines we bring along.

So if they're dinosaur mad, dog obsessed or completely in love with unicorns, we can bring a little of that into their chocolate-making experience.

It's a simple detail, but it makes the party feel much more personal.

What Will The Children Do?

This is where they get to become chocolatiers for the day.

Each child will have the opportunity to have a go at tempering chocolate on a marble slab, with guidance from Jane-Marie.

They'll get to see how professional chocolatiers work with chocolate, experience the process for themselves and learn a little about why tempering is such an important part of chocolate making.

Then it's time to get creative.

Each child makes and decorates their own chocolate bar using luxurious Belgian chocolate, with their own mould and a selection of pre-made chocolate figurines and decorations to choose from.

Some children will carefully plan every detail.

Others will decide that more chocolate is definitely better.

Both are absolutely welcome.

Once their creation is finished, they take home their chocolate bar and their mould to keep.

A Little Friendly Competition

Once all of the bars are finished, we'll bring everyone together for our Best Chocolate Bar Competition.

The children can show off their creations and we'll choose a winning bar from the group.

But nobody leaves empty-handed.

Every child receives a chocolate treat at the end of the party, so everyone gets a little something extra to take away and enjoy.

It's a fun way to finish the chocolate-making part of the experience and gives the children one more reason to get creative with their designs.

 

Then Comes The Chocolate Fountain

After all that creating, it's time for the chocolate fountain.

The children can enjoy our flowing Belgian chocolate fountain with a selection of mini dessert dippers.

It's the perfect way to finish a very chocolatey celebration.

How Long Does a Chocolate Party Last?

Please allow approximately 2.5 hours for the full Chocolate Party Experience.

This gives the children plenty of time to enjoy each part of the experience without feeling rushed — from having a go at tempering chocolate on the marble, to creating their own chocolate bars, enjoying the chocolate fountain dessert buffet and taking part in our Best Chocolate Bar Competition.

Your party is hosted by Jane-Marie, chocolatier and pastry chef behind Summore Chocolate.

Chocolate isn't just the theme of the party.

It's what we do every day.

The children don't simply decorate something that's already been made for them. They get an introduction to the craft behind chocolate, including the opportunity to work with it on the marble slab themselves.

It's designed to be fun, relaxed, and age-appropriate, while giving them a little taste of what being a chocolatier is actually like.
